There and Here by Luca Silvestrini's Protein

Winner of The Stage Awards Community Project of the Year, 2023 A performance dedicated to people worldwide who have been forcibly displaced because of persecution, conflict, violence, human rights violations, or disasters of climate change.

There and Here brings together an ensemble of people from across the world for a three-week project at The Place. Participants and Protein’s artists come together to sing, dance, express their creativity and share their individual stories and collective resilience.

This project is part of Protein Dance’s inclusion programme, Real Life Real Dance. This work seeks to engage and empower using Protein's performance-led collaborative approach inspired by the participants’ lives and experiences.
