Icelandic cellist Geirþrúður Anna Guðmundsdóttir and French pianist Antoine Préat offer a wide-ranging programme for their debut at Conway Hall.

Schumann’s Fantasiestücke radiate warmth and intimacy, while Beethoven’s exuberant A major Sonata displays dialogue of equal partners. Nadia Boulanger’s Trois Pièces offer refined, introspective beauty; Sibelius’s miniatures blend Nordic melancholy and charm; and Grieg’s passionate A minor Sonata crowns the recital with sweeping Romantic fervour rooted in Norwegian song and dance. The event opens with a pre-concert piano recital from 2025 Clements Prize winner, Leo Little.
