Described by The New York Times as bringing “virtuosity, refinement, and youthful exuberance” to his Merkin Concert Hall debut, Benjamin Baker has established himself as a sought-after soloist and chamber musician, performing widely across Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally.

With regular duo partner Daniel Lebhardt, Ben makes his debut at Conway Hall in a wide-ranging programme, not to be missed! Pre-Concert Recital with Antar Quartet Students at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, we are pleased to welcome the Antar Quartet for their debut at Conway Hall. The last of the 6 ‘Tost’ quartets opens their short programme, which is completed by Sri Lankan-born Canadian composer Dinuk Wijeratne’s 2022 work, described by the composer as a “virtuoso musical escapade for string quartet, inspired by the audacious, real-life theft of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa from the Louvre Museum in 1911”.
