To accompany our exhibition 'Hidden Histories of Keats House', we are very excited to stage a workshop on one of Fanny Brawne's (a previous occupant) favourite pastimes - dancing!

Come and enjoy the dances known to the young men and women contemporary with John Keats. With the Prince Regent on the throne (1811 – 1820) the sociable and light-hearted country dances, cotillons, waltzes and quadrilles were found in grand ballrooms, family parties and country hops. No previous experience is necessary and no need to bring a partner.
