Join the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) Museum Late to discover the characters key to the creation and care of the RCP library over the last 500 years and have fun with book-based crafts.

Who was the RCP librarian who ran into the Great Fire of London to rescue books? Which previously overlooked woman was actually responsible for the rebuilding of the RCP library in 1680?

Come along to find out about them and more of the many individuals responsible for creating a wondrous, enduring library like no other. A free curator’s tour exploring these tales within exhibition ‘A body of knowledge’ will run at 6pm and 7pm.

Alongside the exhibition tours our craft café will be open once again. With a range of paper-based crafts available including printing your own patterns, creating moving diagrams, and making bookmarks. Free tea and coffee is also available.

The wider museum will also be open late that evening including the Treasures Room, portrait collections, anatomical tables and Censors Room.
