Lancelot Ribeiro returns to Swiss Cottage Library with Lancelot Ribeiro: A Retrospective Revisited nearly four decades after the artist's landmark 1987 retrospective held in the same space.

Presented as part of South Asian Heritage Month, this exhibition revisits Ribeiro's powerful and deeply personal visual language - one shaped by migration, modernism, memory, and the experience of belonging across cultures.

Bringing together selected works that span his remarkable career, the exhibition offers a renewed encounter with an artist whose bold abstractions and expressive forms continue to resonate today. In returning Ribeiro's work to Swiss Cottage, A Retrospective Revisited not only honours a significant moment in the artist's history, but also celebrates his enduring contribution to British and South Asian artistic heritage.

Lancelot Ribeiro: A Retrospective Revisited is part of the London Borough of Camden's South Asian Heritage programme.
