Castlehaven Community Assosiation will be using the iNaturalist app to take photos of species seen in the park.

This includes plants and animals. Then, we can work out exactly what native wildlife we have! We'll be in Castlehaven Community Park (NW1 8RU) on Friday 25 May from 11-12 and 3-4. We'll also be at Elm Haven (off Barker Drive, NW1 0JW) on Monday 28 May at 11-12.

You don't need any science skills, just turn up and we'll wander around the park looking for interesting wildlife! It's really useful for us to know which species visit the park, so we can plan how to improve biodiversity.

If you don't have the iNaturalist app, it's easy to download on a smartphone. We'll have a couple of tablets available to use instead for those who need. We might also do a pollinator count, where we spent 10 minutes seeing what bees and butterflies come to specific flowers. Again, no pior knowledge is needed. See you in the park!
