No music playing experience required.

We are putting together a playful group of 4–5 women to become our PUBLIC-FACING relaxed ‘BAND’ and public speakers. No experience required

We are putting together a playful group of 4–5 women to become our PUBLIC-FACING relaxed ‘BAND’ and public speakers.

No music playing experience required.

This Friday 5th June 2026 we are holding a Relaxed Friendly Playful Audition & Introduction Session for Black disabled women aged 50+ we are also inclusive of neurodivergence, chronic health conditions, caring roles and diverse access barriers. Build your confidence with us. Musical instruments are provided.

Selected participants will:

  • learn together free of charge

  • develop playing ensemble songs together

  • develop playing 1 personally chosen solo song

  • take part in a 10-session Friday programme

  • develop confidence in photo and interview music opportunities

Instruments in the room:

  • bass guitar

  • keyboards

  • acoustic-electric guitar/acoustic guitars

  • dums / sample drum pad percussion

*FRIDAY 5TH JUNE 2026

  • Arrival from 3.15pm

  • Session 3.30pm – 5.30pm

Wheelchair accessible venue with step-free access, lifts & accessible toilets.

Register via Eventbrite by Friday 10am or come along at 3.15pm.
