We’re Calling all Camden- based creatives, fashion students, upcyclers and style innovators, to take part in a one of a kind catwalk celebrating 60 years of Camden Fashion History.
Enter for a chance to have your reworked garment showcased on a London Fashion Week Catwalk!
On 21st September, Camden High Street will transform into an open-air runway for the Reinvention Catwalk – part of our cultural programme celebrating the pedestrianised High Street. This is fashion with a purpose: we're spotlighting sustainable style, championing reuse, and cutting through clothing waste with creativity.
We know the planet has too many clothes (enough for the next 6 generations) but we also have incredibly talented creative designers, makers and residents who need to work. What happens when we put these two things together?
That’s where you come in:
We are asking creative people of Camden to submit their reinvented outfits for inclusion in our catwalk show.
• Show-stopping, conversation-starting outfits made from recycled, repurposed or second-hand materials
• We are looking for bold looks that breathe new life. into forgotten clothes and say something about the future of fashion.
This is a great opportunity to find a way to turn that unworn item into something you love again. We'd love to see before and after pictures of your creations.
The Prizes!
The shortlisted designs will have a chance to showcase their designs pride of place on the Camden High Street Catwalk during London Fashion Week!
The top two winners will also get:
A fully funded reinvention training course at the TAMMAM Atelier in Bloomsbury, learn how to reinvent like a pro and take your skills to a new level, and even turn them into a business
A cash prize up to £100!

How to enter
FAQs
Do I have to make something especially for this competition?
No, we are happy to accept garments that are already made as long as they are reinvented in some way.
Do I have to live, work or study in Camden to enter?
No, we will consider applications from anyone, but will prioritise those who live, work or study in Camden. You must be able to get your garment to us in Camden by early September (this will be at your own cost).
How "reinvented" does the outfit have to be?
We will be judging all looks on both visuals and story. Sustainability is key here so if you have to use some new material to make it work, that is fine, but please let us know as much detail as possible about what you have used and why if you feel it will help explain the design.
